He has been resident in San Francisco with his handler Kim Russell-Walz since February 2006, he is adored by her assistants Ari and Akiko. He started his show career in April and has regularly won his class and sometimes won Reserve Dog. We were really impressed with him at PCA in June where handled by Martin Gregory for the first time he made the final cut in the Puppy Dog class of 31 dogs.He is quite tall and has a good stride.
After PCA his owner had a change of heart and he was returned to Japan, for us a big disappointment, but we wish him a long and happy life in Japan. Maybe we will hear of his progress? At PCA 2007, it was said that Leon will be shown in Japan shortly- we so hope he does well. His sister is Truly.
